About Me

I am an Instructional Technology teacher at the Haverhill High School in the city of Haverhill Massachusetts.  We are a large ethnically diverse school with about 2,000 students.  I teach programs and applications in the Freshman Academy as well as Web 1, Web 2 and an advanced level Computer Technology applications class.  I am the Technology facilitator in the STEM Academy.

The Computer Technology class is  focused on advanced skill development and then using these programs and applications to start, promote, manage and successfully run a small startup business. I also work on curriculum development, software evaluation, faculty trainings, technology deployments in concert with our iSchool team, including the recent deployment of new smart boards and MacBooks. I also assisted in the review and deployment of security devices at the High School and other schools in the district including camera, access control and wireless networks and systems.  I recently formed the HHS AV Club where  I supervise our student members as they configure and run the theatrical lighting and professional sound equipment in our 450-seat auditorium and at other venues we oversee.

In addition to the teaching position I hold, I perform other consultancy work:  I am on the Technical Advisory Committee in the Audio Production Department at the New England Institute of Art in Boston where I taught  a very popular “Commercial AV Installations” class for 5 years.  I am also a Lead Consultant for the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild, where I act as the on-site arbiter of  the rules and guidelines during the annual Massachusetts High School Drama Festival.

Music, wood turning, skiing, skateboarding and motorcycles are my passions…
